One game, 72 hours. The theme? Transmission
Lead by Feel is… Well it’s hard to describe! It’s a point and click game about being a charismatic politician seeking to overthrow the government through emotional influence. As the the Global Game Jam theme that year was Transmission, communication is the first thing to come to mind. Unlike my previous projects, I drew on my A/V experience and composed the music used in the game.
The final product
I worked as the Composer and Audio Programmer. I integrated the audio files created in GarageBand and Audacity along with modified sounds sourced from the Internet. Initially, I wanted to integrate FMOD to better connect the influence level in game to the music but we could not incorporate it in time. As part of the Stranger Things Diversifier, I also performed a cover of The Man Who Sold The World as performed by Midge Ure, originally by David Bowie.
